The GVC Renewal

The course includes multiple Online Learning modules followed by a Theoretical Exam conducted remotely with a member of the RUAS Academy Training team. A Skills Assessment may be required at our local flying site, depending on the level of currency and competency the remote pilot has maintained.

Evidence of currency and competency should include:

Flight Logs – electronic logs detailing at least 2 hours of flying within the last 90 days.
Current GVC Certificate (within 6 months of expiry)
Valid CAA Flyer ID
Proof of Identification – Driving Licence or Passport

Our training locations

We run regular classroom based courses in Newport, South Wales. Other training locations may be available on request depending on group size. If you have more than 8 people in your group then we can arrange a location close to you.
