A huge well done to the head of RUAS – Tim Harris in achieving the Global Runner-Up for the Airwards – People’s Choice award. Airwards is an online platform that upholds pioneering cases with the use of drones.

The People’s Choice Category

The People’s Choice category encourages drone enthusiasts from all over the world to vote for who they regard as the epitome within the industry, the award is keen to recognise the story behind the success – not just the commercial success.

To be regarded within this category the individual must demonstrate a high-quality work ethos whilst promoting the safe and positive use of drones. They must be regarded as a great success within their field as a result of their resilience, hard work, and dedication.

Person – Disruptor Award

Tim was up against 11 other industry leaders for the ‘Person – Disruptor Award’ selected from a huge field of individuals within the growing drone industry.

The Disruptor Award recognises an individual who is creating a service, product or method that displaces the existing market and positions them at he the helm of the sector.  With the ever-advancing technology of drones to enable safer and more cost-effective solutions to the most dangerous and complex tasks, RUAS has been at the forefront of the drone sector in offering drone solutions as one of the industry leaders headed by Tim Harris.

Global Runner-Up

Tim been deemed the Global Runner-up, being pipped at the post by the categories winner Dr Ruchi Saxena who is the director of Caerobotics and India Flying Labs, we offer our congratulations to Ruchi and wish her the best.
